"The more difficulties one has to encounter , within and without, the more
significant and the higher in inspiration his (or her) life will be."
- Horace Bushnell
In other words, don't take difficulties as a bad thing. Hardships do occur, they are a part of life, it is how you react to them, what you learn from them and how you apply what you've learned from those tough moments, that makes the difference between a pessimistic or an optimistic person.
I know it's easier said than done, however, know that the difficulty is in itself an opportunity to become more than what you currently are. Find the gem (i.e. lesson, wisdom, strength, will-power) hidden in the dirt (difficulty, obstacle, challenge, hardship).
And if you've gone through many a difficulties and STILL standing, and STILL patiently persevering towards your goals, than my friend, YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION to not only others, but to YOURSELF as well.
DEFY YOUR DIFFICULTIES, because ultimately, their outcome is what Defines You.
Whatever happens, always remember:
YOU GOT THISSSS!!!!
